1. Can the SBA help me finance my home-based online business?
Yes. The SBA has variety of financing options available for small businesses whether for start-up or expansion. These are usually in the form of loan guaranties made to borrowers through SBA accredited banks and private lenders. You may check out more about the Small Business Administration at www.sba.gov. Funding Accelerator can also help you understand many of these SBA programs.

2. Can I get the SBA-guaranteed loan even if my credit score is low?
We all know that credit scoring is a system creditors use to determine whether they should give credit or not as this represents how creditworthy a person is or how capable he/she is in repaying the loan. A higher credit score will give an applicant better chances of approval but it does not guarantee anything as there are other important factors being considered in a loan application. Those with low credit score may ask the help of our FA Associates on how they can improve their credit score.

1. What expenses can I expect financial aid to cover?
Depending on your financial award it may cover all or part of the following:
tuition/fees, books/supplies, transportation, personal, school, and miscellaneous expenses

2. Can I receive Federal financial aid as a part-time student?
Yes, if you are determined to be eligible based on Expected Family Contribution (EFC),
cost of attendance (COA), and the number of hours you are taking. Do check with your school's financial aid office to be sure of your eligibility.
